Prodimex athletes make their triathlon debut!

Prodimex Group specialists show excellent results not only in their core business — agribusiness — but also in sport. We have written more than once about the successes of our athletes, including the Moscow running team of the Finance and Economics Department.
In June, Danil Shkarpetin, a member of the team, made his debut in a new discipline for him — triathlon. He took part in a stage of the “Moscow Thunder” cup. A short sprint distance was chosen for his first competition, which included a 750 m open-water swim, a 20 km bike race and a 5 km run.
The event took place in Moscow’s Krylatskiye Hills park, known for its challenging terrain with elevation changes of up to 240 m. Among 320 participants, at a temperature of +25 degrees, Danil bravely completed all the stages in 1 hour 35 minutes and became a member of the triathlete community.
The Prodimex running team has many starts planned for the summer. And at the end of the summer season our colleague plans to reach a new milestone in triathlon too — the Olympic distance with a 1.5 km swim, a 40 km bike stage and a 10 km run, surrounded by picturesque views of the Volga River and the city of Nizhny Novgorod.
